September 1, 2009 - Robin’s Chocolate Sauce Announces Exclusive Distribution Agreement with Copper Kettle Chocolate Company
Robin’s Chocolate Sauce, LLC, of Fort Fairfield, Maine, is pleased to announce an exclusive agreement with Copper Kettle Chocolate Company to distribute Robin’s Chocolate Sauce products in Ontario, Canada. Robin’s Chocolate Sauce has created a line of certified organic and fair trade chocolate sauces in seven different flavors, including Tropical Dark, Orange Spice and Ginger Pear. Copper Kettle Chocolate Company produces award-winning chocolate bark and truffles at their shop in Picton, Ontario, a picturesque town on the shore of Lake Ontario, along “Le Route des Saveurs”, or the “Taste Trail” in Prince Edward County.
Other Robin’s Chocolate Sauce flavors are: Original Recipe, Raspberry, Blueberry, and Bittersweet. Select ingredients, such as organic Bourbon vanilla and freshly ground spices are blended with fine-flavored cocoas to produce deep chocolate tastes with tangy, interesting notes. Locally produced dairy ingredients impart a smooth, creamy and rich texture to the sauces. All seven varieties are certified organic, and four are fair trade certified.

In addition to their organic and fair trade certification, Robin’s Chocolate Sauce has a cause-related marketing partnership with National Wildlife Federation. The company uses shade grown cocoa, which helps to conserve winter habitats for migratory songbirds, and has an affiliation with Sustainable Harvest International, a non-profit organization in Maine promoting sustainable farming practices in tropical areas where the cocoa is grown.
